MAN UTD BIG IN JAPAN

In December 2008, Manchester United travelled out to Japan to compete in the FIFA World Club Championships. Upon arrival, they were greeted by jubliant Japanese football fans, wearing replica shirts, and waving banners at their heros.

Man Utd went on to win the tournament, beating Ecuadorian LDU Quito 1-0 in the final, with Wayne Rooney finishing as top goalscorer, netting three goals.

The Japanese people loved Manchester United, and Japan make up a portion of their global support. Surely now is the time for each and every one of us to support Japan.
